GL45 Port Cap Kit, reinforced Stainless Steel 1/4-28 UNF threads, PTFE inner, blue spin collar, designed for use with 45mm media bottles. Fits glass bottles with a GL45 (45 mm) neck size. 304 Stainless steel (SS) threaded insert minimizes cross-threading on soft PTFE ports and is ideal when tubing adapters are regularly removed and re-attached. Create a closed system using port caps to prevent hazardous vapor evaporation in the lab. These port caps accept standard 1/4″-28 UNF fittings to easily connect semi-rigid tubing. Choose tubing adapters based on your tubing size. A set of plugs in included to maintain a closed system when holes are not in use. Note: we suggest you order an optional vent filter to allow for pressure changes and safe off-gassing (not included) when a port cap does not have a built-in vent.
